Is quarantine a good time to find love?

We have all been quarantined for months now and if you are single, you may be getting lonely.

Let’s face it, family and friend Zoom parties can only emotionally fulfill you so much. All of us need romantic love in our lives, or at least the possibility of it. 

A common excuse for not dating is lack of time, usually because of career and family duties. If you are one of the many who is not working at all, you are now unwillingly swimming in free time. So why not delve into dating apps and websites now? You finally have the focus that you have always needed but never had, in order to find love. 

When you remove the chances of lust from a budding relationship, it is easier to focus on building an emotional connection before a physical one clouds your judgment. And now, we are basically being forced (for our own good, of course) to stay social at a distance. Even if you wanted to ho around, it would be hard to do it now. 

When you find someone that you hit it off with, you will have the time to get to know them without sexual pressure complicating things. It’ll be middle school all over again.

But bear in mind that sometimes, you can have sparks through the screen but not in person…
